Like on trails that have long, flowy sections, and these days they’re getting popular at 24 hr. races as well. Or if you just want a really fast mountain bike to use on the road, you could also use them on a Hybrid bike if you wanted to convert to Disc Brakes providing your frame has the necessary disc mounts as the 29ins rim will take a 700c tyre.
