The Mortirolo (1.851 m), one of the toughest climbs that the sport of cycling has to offer. • Alpine Classic Part 1 - France: Filmed just ahead of the world-famous cyclo sportif event called the Marmotte. This is a challenging ride with unforgettable views of the Alps, breathtaking descents and steep climbs. The 86 km course with the wooded Col du Télégraphe (1570m) and descends down to the Valloir ski resort, across the rugged Col du Galibier (2,642m), down the Col du Lautaret (2,000m), the hamlet La Grave and the dam bridge at Lac du Chambon. After the village of Les Clapier there is a long, flat road to Bourg d’Oisans, where you can pause to catch your breath. You finish this epic ride with the tough unrelenting world famous climb of Alpe-d'Huez to the finish at the mountain ski resort of the same name (1,839m).
• Alpine Classic Part 2 (Climb Collection 11 - France): This very challenging adventure through the beautiful French Alps includes the opening climb of the classic cyclo sportive race La Marmotte and two legendary Tour de France mountains. After the 35 km climb to the twin tops of the Col du Glandon and the Col de la Croix-de-Fer, you can start climbing the 18 km to the top of the Col de la Colombière and the 24 km to the highest point of the Col de la Madeleine. Your goal is to conquer the great Madeleine from the northern side, which is one of the toughest climbs in the French Alps.
