Ragley Blue Pig Frame 2012 Introduction

Designed by award winning designer Brant Richards of Shedfire, manufactured for us in the best frameshop in Taiwan we've ever seen, this is a hardcore long forked trail hardtail, designed to take everything you can throw at it.

When it appeared in 2009 it was groundbreaking! Now for 2011, we have refined every single tube and component to improve it even more, but the geometry is unchanged - with 140/150mm fork compatibity. Custom butted Fathead top and downtubes allows us to remove gussets for cleaner lines, higher strength and lower weight. A tapered seatube gives you "Dropper" compatibility with it's 30.9 seatpost size. The headtube uses the 44mm ID standard, allowing regular, tapered or 1.5in forks to fit -  is this a steel frame first?

Our unique 3-finger-bridge gets investment cast in chromoly, and matched to Fathead chainstays, externally butted near the BB for extra strength and stiffness. ISCG mounts get added, and the BB is machined inside to save weight. Bolt on cable guides, fastened with stainless steel bolts, new profile rear stays for less weight, a better ride and more latteral stiffness round out the feartures.

The Blue Pig is a blend of Dh stability with uphill tenacity. It'll climb and descend with such contradiction, you'll be left scratching your head and grinning alot!
