The Orange G Series

These two mountain bike frames from Orange were £320 each, you can now save £160.

Both of the ‘G’ series models feature Orange's elegant custom butted Series 12.5 6061-T6 round tubed frame which gives the off road adventurer a precision tuned ride and delivers the optimum balance between performance and rider comfort. The gussetted front triangle construction, classic Orange monostay tail end and rugged CNC machine drop-outs inspire rider confidence and maximize the riders pedaling input. Orange have had years of practice refining hardtail design and with the ‘G’ series Orange build on that expertise. The chassis geometry has been tweaked and tuned to deliver optimum ride performance with the materials trimmed, formed and refined to reduce weight but retain strength.

The Orange Radical Evo6 Evolution

The Orange ev06 is a radical evolution of its predecessor the ev04. The brand new frame follows the ‘big and tough’ philosophy of its forebear. The new Series 15 6061 tubeset is at the heart of the ev06, using new hydroforming techniques for specific tubes Orange have custom shaped the frame sections to give us new levels of performance in the age old strength to weight equation.

Orange Evo6 Enormous Frame Strength

The new shaped and fluted downtube section brings enormous strength to the frame. This removes the need for the extra material of a gusset and combined with greater weld contact areas, the frame is tougher than ever. A new monostay design, using the same construction process, makes the rugged tail-end resilient to trail impacts, without punishing the rider on those long haul all-dayers.

Ev06 from the ground up

The ev06 is built from the ground up for the single-minded trail rider. Whether its flat-out fire road or intricate singletrack this bike will be asking for more all the way.
