The Million Dollar Sprocket got its name because the prototypes were ridiculously expensive. Fortunately, the production versions are actually quite affordable.

Sometimes it seems like there is little to do to a sprocket to make it special. The integrated guard has been done before in various methods. It is a very efficient way of protecting your chain from impact damage. An integrated guard meshed with a removable guard is the ultimate in protection.

The Million Dollar Sprocket creates this cocoon for your chain, by sandwiching it between the two guards. The integrated guard sprocket can be used, and is available separately. The removable guard is an option, to customize your protection level. The sizes 25, 27, 28, 30 all have a matching guard, made specifically for that size, that comes with all the hardware needed.

• This is a guard sprocket, with an secondary bolt-on guard (optional). It's designed to meet the demands of team riders like Matt Beringer, Adam Banton and our own R&D man, Ben Ward.
• Depending on the frame being used, the sprocket can usually be run with the integrated guard facing inward or outward, according to your personal preference.
