Kona Downhill / 4X Bikes
The 2007 Kona Downhill / 4X bike range includes Kona Stab Supreme, Kona Stab Deluxe and Kona Howler.
If you believe that you have what it takes to race competitively in World Cup Downhill events, then you need to put the Red Bull down and start doing some sit ups. Kona have been building downhill bikes that win Downhill World Championships (two times now - Fabien rules), and it’s the same bike that will win you a beer at the bottom of the hill. Kona's commitment to racing has created a culture here that thrives on listening to World Cup athlete input. Our downhill racing program is one of the top in the world, and this effort has given them the ability to design one of the best downhill bikes ever made.
Kona Out of Bounds Bikes
The 2007 Kona Out of Bounds bike range includes Kona Stinky Primo, Kona Stinky Deluxe, Kona Stinky, Kona Coiler Deluxe, Kona Coiler, Kona CoilAir Supreme and Kona CoilAir.
The Clump is a key element in the development of Kona's Out of Bounds series of bikes, which has been on the forefront of freeride technology since the beginning. With a focus on excelling riders’ capabilities, Kona responsibly improve technology in a way that only enhances the rider’s ability, and never chases industry trends. That’s the way Kona like it.
Kona Dirt Jumping Bikes
The 2007 Kona Dirt Jumping bike range is Kona Cowan, Kona Stuff, Kona Scrap and Kona Shred.
John Cowan has been spearheading Kona's Dirt Jump program for some time now. John is the playing captain of the Kona Clump, and contributes to the design of all of Kona's Dirt Jump bikes. You can also see some of Cowan’s handy work at the Kona Jump Farm in Whistler, and at his BackYard Jam in San Diego. If you see him at a Kona Bike Park, pick up a hoe or a shovel and get busy. Moving dirt isn’t always about big diesel Tonka toys. New with The Clump in 2005 was Paul Basagoitia, who proved that he belonged by taking 1st place again in Whistler’s premiere Crankworx event. John and Paul are the reason why Kona and Dirt Jumping are synonymous terms.
Kona Women’s (Lisa) Bikes
The 2007 Kona Women’s (Lisa) bike range is Kona Lisa Supreme RD, Kona Lisa RD, Kona Queen Kikapu, Kona Lisa DS, Kona Kula Lisa and Kona Lisa HT.
Last year Kona introduced the new Kona Lisa bikes for women. This particular line of bikes addresses the unique anatomical needs women have with high performance bicycles. Details such as stems, top tube length, grip and saddle comfort, all contribute to how a bike “feels” to a particular body type, and in this case, women. New this year is Kona's support of the all women’s Velo Bella-Kona cycling team. With these racers’ input, Kona are able to continually improve these models, and progress women’s design.
Kona Back Country Dual Bikes
The 2007 Kona Back Country Dual bike range is Kona Dawg Supreme, Kona Dawg Primo, Kona Dawg Deluxe and Kona Dawg.
All day epic rides require Kona bikes that can handle everything from descending nasty, loose shale to the effort of a sixty minute singletrack climb. Kona's Back Country series is a cross breed of sorts, combining the thoroughbred agility of their cross-country race bikes with the increased travel and durability of a Freeride bike. If you want to cover most of your bases with just one bike, these are the bikes.
Kona Cross Country Dual Bikes
The 2007 Kona Cross Country Dual bike range is Kona The King, Kona King Kikapu, Kona Kikapu Deluxe and Kona Kikapu.
Kona have a long-standing history of designing dual suspension cross country bikes for grueling races at some of the sports highest levels. Right now, the Kona / Les Gets Factory Team uses the race proven Kona 4-bar rear suspension for all of their Cross Country Dual Suspension needs.
Kona Cross Country Race Bikes

Racing bikes on the World Cup for just one year puts demands on equipment that most of us can’t muster up in a lifetime. Since Kona's early beginnings, their Cross Country line has been defined (and later refined) by the top racers on the World Cup race circuit. They beat the hell out of things and Kona stay close by their side and take a lot of notes. The result has been a heritage of refinement that Kona are very proud of, and will continue. Like all Kona bikes, they don’t go chasing design theories down rabbit holes. Kona simply use what works best, for the best racers in the world.
Kona Back Country HT Bikes
The 2007 Kona Back Country HT bike range includes Kona Caldera, Kona Cinder Cone and Kona Blast.
What started out years ago as a “trail” bike offering has now been elevated to an All Mountain platform. Simply put, these Back Country Hard Tails are designed for all day, all mountain rides and conditions.
Kona Mountain Bikes
The 2007 Kona Mountain Bike range is Kona Fire Mountain and Kona Lana’i.
An original Kona model (Fire Mountain) that keeps getting better after 19 years of constant refining. Kona use the same design concept and philosophy as their top-end cross country race bikes to make you as happy as Ryan Trebon when he won his 1st NORBA Cross Country Championship. This might be your first mountain bike (Lana'i) so get ready for some good times! If this is your first, let Kona show you the Secret Kona Handshake.....known in over 60 countries throughout the World and the Solar System.

Whether you need the performance of a PhD in your daily commute, or the slow cruise of the bike with the longest model name in the bike industry (Humuhumu-Nukunuku-Apua’A), a garage full of Asphalt bikes will surely get you in a better state of mind.
Kona Cyclocross Bikes
The 2007 Kona Cyclocross Bike range includes Kona Major Jake, Kona Jake The Snake and Kona Jake.
It’s been called “Holy Cross” and other names referring to cult like activities, but for Kona's purposes and beliefs, they simply call it Cyclocross. Kona has been a dominant figure in the design and progression of North American Cyclocross and have supported the Kona Factory Cyclocross Team to an outstanding, successful season.
Kona Kids Bikes
The 2007 Kona Kids Bike range includes Kona Jake 2-4, Kona Makena, Kona Hula, Kona Stinky 2-4, Kona Stuff 2-4, Kona Shred 2-4 and Kona Shred 2-0.
Kona view their kid's bikes as if they were a little rider themselves. Would Kona want to ride 80lb. bikes with pictures of purple dinosaurs all over the down tube? No. Kona parents demand Kona design and innovation to help their kids become better cyclists. Kona even have research that shows that kids who ride Kona bikes don’t do drugs, and stay in school...
