Light and Stiff Bianchi 928 SL - Wednesday 20th September, 2006.

With cutting edge design, the new 928 Carbon SL is the result of a fine-tuned integration of structural parts. Each tube is designed and developed to fulfill the task assigned to it. The computer analysis of performances is fundamental for the construction model, as does nanotechnology employed within the carbon fibers. The tubes are not only light, but also incredibly stiff, with a 27% increase in their performance. This is an absolutely unbelievable figure if one thinks of the minimum margins allowed by this level of product.
The weight target for these frames is actually less than 860grams, a value that belongs to the category of excellence.
The SL fork is completely renewed and stylized. Computer analysis of the stresses provides an important contribution in the design of the shape. The blades are now straight, for better maneuverability and resistance to stresses; the material is made of carbon fiber and nanotechnology. Exceptional weight target: the SL weighs only 300 g for a full length. Few other forks on the market can boast such a low weight.
Bianchi HoC - Hors category
Hors Category: in cycle racing these are the toughest climbs. Only champions can challenge and dominate them. The Hors Category bikes have the same DNA as champions, the special signs that make the difference. Above all Extreme lightness, but also a lot of care for details in frames that do not like compromises and aim straight for performances. What counts more than anything else is pedaling, and fast at that. Two models: 928 Carbon SL and FG Lite Carbon.
