New for 2006 Trek have decided to expand the Madone range to six bikes for men, and now two Madone's featuring Treks WSD womens specific geometry.

The Madone 5.9 SSLX tops the range and will be the bike we are likely to see under the likes of George Hincapie and Roger Hammond this coming season. It will retail for £6000 and is specced with full Dura-Ace and Bontrager's all-new deep-section carbon clincher wheels. The entry point to the Madone family is now the 5.2 which features a carbon OCLV frame and Ultegra group with Bontrager wheels and finishing kit. It will retail for £2100. The 5.9sl WSD (top pic) retails for £3500 has an 110 OCLV carbon frameset and full Dura-Ace whilst the 5.2 WSD has the 120 OCLV frame finished with a 10-speed Ultegra triple and a retail price of £2100. Trek also offer the Pilot range in womens specific geometry which feature compact style frames and start at £700 rising to £2100 for the top spec Ultegra 10 speed equipped Pilot 5.2 wsd.
