Look Keo Hm Carbon Pedals Description
This is where it starts to get serious!
According to the Look website, this pedal was used by 6 Pro Tour teams: Credit Agricole, Cofidis, Caisse d'Epargne, Astana-wurth, Liquigas and Lampre and is used by other individual riders such as Robbie McEwen.
On to the specifics though, like the previous models this pedal begins to distinguish itself not only by weight, but by other features as well.
Minimum tension has moved up from 9 to 10 Nm compared to the Keo Classic and Sprint and the maximum tension has gone from 15 to 18 Nm.
So as you can see, the tension levels have gone up on the scale.
This means that its going to be harder to clip in and out and its possible to make it even harder by going all the way to 18 Nm.
Another new feature is that this pedal contains 2 sealed bearings unlike the previous models which only contain one.
The body is made from injected carbon making it a lot stiffer and lighter than pedals made from polyamide composite.
