700c Fork Full Carbon Ø 1 1/8" Integrated A/Head (300mm Steerer) 295g.
Specification and Features of the LOOK HSC5 SL Full Carbon Fork
- Diameter 1 1/8” (integrated).
- Instead of adding an aluminium crown race, the LOOK engineers have moulded a carbon crown race flange into the fork's crown. Lighter, more precise, integral.
- The crown is oversized due to the increased amount of Very High Modulus Carbon used to give this area of the fork the required level of strength and rigidity.
- Secret methods of construction allow the VHM carbon walls to be thinner and thus lighter while still being strong and stiff
- The HSC5 SL has been designed to be as efficient as possible. Curved blades improve lateral rigidity and steering accuracy while keeping a little frontal flexibility for comfort.
- The carbon dropouts are directly moulded with the fork.
- VHM Carbon dropouts, reduce weight and increase overall stiffness at the hub axle.
