The stunning new KOM Evo is the latest evolution of Kuota's flagship frame. Produced entirely with 'PERFORMANCE' in mind, it is the lightest, most performance focused frame that Kuota have ever built.
The KOM Evo is a sub 900 gram frame (even the XL is sub 1Kg), using every bit of Kuota’s design expertise combined with the most sophisticated use of material and manufacturing technology avaiable.
The result is now ready for you to test your limits whether climbing the Alps, speeding through a hilly sportive or taking on the peleton in the very highest levels of road racing.
For 2011 Kuota have updated the KOM with revised tube shapes and a more advanced carbon fibre blend.
The KOM Evo again boasts a tapered head tube – Kuota were one of the very earliest adopters of the concept – but the lower steerer diameter has increased from 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 for even more steering precision.
The massively oversized down tube, oversized chainstays and reinforced bottom bracket area deliver the highest levels of lateral stiffness, so every ounce of effort is translated into forward motion, while the slimmed down seat stays add to rider comfort.
The BB30-compatible bottom bracket shell can also house a conventional diameter bottom thanks to a super-stiff BB adapter.
The KOM Evo is both lightening quick and forgiving all at the same time.
