This bike is a mean dirty cross country machine but as it’s name would suggest utilises all the advanced technologies that Giant have developed over the years, if it were an animal it would be a multi lingual Rottweiler with table manners. Ridden aggressively this bike will bare its teeth as you carve the corners, but this bike is no untamed beast. The Carbon Composite Maestro suspension frame represents the cutting edge of Giants composite technologies know how, while the Maestro suspension system is the award winning (and race winning) pinnacle of Giant’s full suspension frame design achievements. As you would expect Giant have cut no corners in the specification on this bike, with a full Shimano XTR group set, Mavic Crossmax SLR UST wheels and fox shocks front and rear this really does read like a wish list custom build. Giant say that the Anthem has ‘set a new standard in XC full suspension’; we would say that this is a phenomenal understatement.
