Cycling Weekly's Bike of the year 2007!!!

The first thing that you will probably notice about the Kharma is the visual quality of the frame/bike, together with the very attractive price.

The Kharma is a great entry level road bike, perfect if you are new to cycling and want a top quality no nonsense bike for a very competitive price.

The frame has an average weight of 1.25KG throught the range with the size XS weighing an average of 1.1KG so by no means a slouch in the weight department!

The frame is a monocoque type, constucted from 12K carbon giving super rigidity with oversized heatube and downtube.

The Kharma was put on test by Cycling Weekly recently and came out as performance bike of the year 2007!

The bike was tested against the most proven names in the business, De Rosa, Specialised, Orbea, Felt and Focus and came out on top of the pile!!

The Bikes priced in the range of £1200-£1600 but despite the Kuota Kharma being the least expensive bike it still came out on top.

Here is the cycling weekly quote: 'At the front of the bunch that just leaves the Kuota Kharma Factory Bike.

What makes the Kuota the best bike on test? With a standard 105 group throughout and deda equipment, nothing jumps out in particular.

That is until the frame comes into view. Here Kuota is doing something right with the geometry that with just 5 moulds for the Kharma is spot-on. The carbon lay-up provides a laterally stiff frame and with a remodelled front fork gives a very responsive front end that is hard to fault. This frame is worth upgrading as you go, and the low price tag will help you out with this one. With the performance of a race bike but exceptional comfort and handling, the Kuota Kharma can handle anything you ask it to do." Cycling Weekly June 7, 2007.'
