In 2006 we launched the pointzero3 as a product of thinking about maximizing performance during non-wetsuit legal swims. For 2008 the pointzero3 has been updated to include a higher quality lycra, improved seam lines and a longer leg. Combined with Yamamoto SCS coating, with a drag coeffi cient of friction of 0.032 (over 50 times lower than skin and more than four times lower than other swim ‘skins’ on the market) the pointzero3+ has been modified further to enhance a product seen as the fastest on the market.
The pointzero3+ has been produced with:
• Longer leg for better skin cover and less drag through the water.
• New lycra material gives better flexibility and durability with a higher thread count.
• Improved seam alignment across the shoulders to release pressure points and increase comfort and performance.
• Yamamoto SCS fabric with hydrophobic skin reduces friction drag through the water.
• helix technology improves fit and allows for a better swim stroke.
• Lycra insert improves leg fi t.
