The new D2 Open-Face Helmet has the same quality construction and revolutionary styling as the classic D2 (Daytona 2), but its versatility makes it a perfect fit for many sports including skiing, snowboarding and bicycling.
One of the strongest helmets in bicycling today, the D2 Composite helmet is made of 50% fiberglass, 20% arimid, and for added reinforcement, and 30% carbon.
The D2's flow-through ventilation system inicludes four intake and exhaust ports that work in unison to maximize cool air transfer over the rider's head. A fully interchangeable, washable, MX-style padded liner as well as a buckle chinstrap system combine to create a plush, custom fit. D2 helmets meet or exceed safety approval rating requirements from CSPC, ASTM (BMX and downhill), and DE.
