NC-17 Empire S-Pro II seatpost

Patents do not always mean it’s a good concept, but in this case it is a breakthrough idea. Ours idea, the NC-17 Empire S-Pro II seatpost, is protected, because it is destined for great things. Many bikers have told us that they find it hard to achieve a comfortable position on their bike so we set about helping to solve the problem. From our personal experience and that of our racing team, we know how painful a narrow seat can be. Of course the saddle is a huge part of this problem, but the remainder is determined by the optimal height and inclination of it.

With the patented NC-17 Empire S-Pro II seatpost, we perfect the height as well as the seat angle adjustment of the saddle. The Z-alignment (angle) is adjustable via a laser-engraved scale, which enables perfect and precise adjustment and enables the rider to achieve the perfect angle for their personal riding position. The new-patented adjustment of the saddle angle is managed by a worm gear, which makes an easy adjustment of the saddle possible, with an accuracy of less than a degree. The laser-engraved scale on the adjustment screw makes angles more precise to adjust.

The biggest advantage of this system is when readjusting the saddle after the first fitting and adjustment. Normally adjusting the saddle is a little like a game of chance but with the NC-17 Empire S-Pro II seatpost the saddle angle can be readjusted accurately. The rail clamping is a “mutual parallelogram” design meaning that saddle rails of 7mm (XC) or 8mm (DH) to be fitted safely. Our post is of course manufactured from the particularly light and strong aluminum alloy 2014 T6.
