Kona has been a long time pioneer of everything Freeride, and the Stinky Primo is our flagship bike that embodies Kona design and freeride innovation. Ridden, abused, and coddled by our International Kona Clump Freeride team, the Stinky Primo is a classic example of our innovation by rider input.

The Clump is a key element in the development of our Out of Bounds series of bikes, which has been on the forefront of freeride technology since the beginning. With a focus on excelling riders’ capabilities, we responsibly improve technology in a way that only enhances the rider’s ability, and never chases industry trends. That’s the way we like it.
We’ve taken our proven freeride platform and added a little more pedal friendly design features (such as angles and less weight). The Coiler allows those who are a little more concerned about climbing to their freeride areas, do their thing.
If you believe that you have what it takes to race competitively in World Cup Downhill events, then you need to put the Red Bull down and start doing some sit ups. We’ve been building downhill bikes that win Downhill World Championships (two times now - Fabien rules), and it’s the same bike that will win you a beer at the bottom of the hill. Our commitment to racing has created a culture here that thrives on listening to World Cup athlete input. Our downhill racing program is one of the top in the world, and this effort has given us the ability to design one of the best downhill bikes ever made.
