2007 Kona Coilair Supreme

Using the same ideas as the Coiler series, the Coilair replaces the “coil” with the “air” for those of you who want to get to the launch pad faster than your fully coiled friends. Based on the same premise (and success) as the Coilair, this year we’re introducing a Coilair Supreme. Like you guessed, it uses the same frame design as the Coilair, but then comes with more exotic parts in order to cause more drool factor.

The Clump is a key element in the development of our Out of Bounds series of bikes, which has been on the forefront of freeride technology since the beginning. With a focus on excelling riders’ capabilities, we responsibly improve technology in a way that only enhances the rider’s ability, and never chases industry trends. That’s the way we like it.
We’ve taken our proven freeride platform and added a little more pedal friendly design features (such as angles and less weight). The Coiler allows those who are a little more concerned about climbing to their freeride areas, do their thing.
All day epic rides require bikes that can handle everything from descending nasty, loose shale to the effort of a sixty minute singletrack climb. Our Coiler series is a cross breed of sorts, combining the thoroughbred agility of our cross-country race bikes with the increased travel and durability of a Freeride bike. If you want to cover most of your bases with just one bike, these are the bikes.
