It is strong, versatile and easy to use. In developing the MAXXRAXX system we have looked carefully at the best carriers available. MAXXRAXX has designed a product that out performs them all and when used with a receiver style hitch, allows the user to tow a trailer while carrying up to five bikes. This premium product can carry up to five adult bikes and comes completes with five cycle carriers, a foot that can attach to the existing trailer hitch and a receiver tube designed to carry the rack and fit into an existing receiver style hitch. Everything you need to fit the rack to your vehicle is supplied including all bolts, padlocks and a built-in security cable to protect your valuable cycles.

Swanneck towbars require the MAXXRAXX SwanNeck Clamp Adapter. This patented mechanism uniquely attaches to the elbow or bend of the swanneck bar thus leaving the ball free for towing.

Swanneck towbars are either fixed (permanently bolted or welded to the towbar bracket) or detachable (removable when not in use by means of a levered or lockable mechanism). The MAXXRAXX SwanNeck Clamp Adapter can be fitted to either.

When carrying any number of bikes on a Swanneck MAXXRAXX it is mandatory to use two Auxiliary Straps in a triangulated configuration. All Swanneck MAXXRAXX are supplied with two Auxiliary Straps and Swanneck Upgrade Kits contain an additional Auxiliary Strap to add to the one supplied with the original rack.

As with the MAXXRAXX Type-compliant Foot the MAXXRAXX SwanNeck Clamp Adapter is available in both right and left hand configurations. An adapter for use with Alko style stabilisers has been developed and will be available shortly.
