1000 Mile Tri Sock

The 1000 Mile Tri sock features the unique properties of Marfil – The fibre of the future.

It is the lightest yarn available, with lowest specific weight of any fibre ever conceived. The wicking properties of Marfil are second to none, which means your feet stay cool and dry. The sock is environmentally friendly to produce and is easily recyclable.

The 1000 Mile Tri sock features a flat toe seam to maximise comfort in the tightest cleated shoes. An arch brace provides a customised fit and top venting helps to keep your feet cool under pressure. Marfil is soft in feel and produces no skin irritation thus minimising the incidence of blisters even during the hardest of races.

The Company was established in 1989 following the creation of the original 1000 Mile sock.

The 1000 Mile unique double layer cotton/nylon sock was initially developed as a medical aid for sufferers from poor circulation and foot associated problems, especially among diabetics. As the benefits and reputation of the sock spread, athletes became interested in the socks as a means of preventing blistering, and controlling perspiration, during their training and competitive running programmes.
