RACE

The 2006 Race range upholds Orca’s standard of making the best in product technology available to athletes of all levels.

Everything we have learnt from working with distance triathletes is applied to the Orca Race range, which includes enhanced performance fabrics – Aqua-Glide, Dri-Lite and the new Vapour. Advanced product features, revised lengths, increased colour options and a standardised sizing system are also new in 2006.

Orca 2006 Race Women's Tri Singlet

The Race Tri Singlet features body-contour panelling for shape and support. Orca Dri-Lite with advanced micro-fibre polyester wicks moisture away from the skin, while stretch mesh back and Vapour Moisture Transfer panels offer lightness and breathability. Fitted with two back pockets, the Race Tri-Pocket Singlet is geared for maximum exertion and distance durability.

• DRI-LITE

  Orca Dri-Lite is constructed of all new micro-fibre polyester, making this one of the most technically advanced garment fabrics on the market. Dri-Lite uses two different deniers of fibre in its construction which enhances directional wicking whereby finer fibres on the outer surface effectively pull moisture away from the inner surface of slightly denser fibres. Resulting in excellent moisture management and additional benefits of lightness and next-to-skin comfort. Breathable and fast drying, Dri-Lite is now a durable anti-static fabric, perfect for training and competition.

• VAPOUR

  A materials breakthrough in moisture management, the new Orca Vapour is a light, breathable fabric used in key Moisture Transfer panels of garment construction. With a high Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR) – the rate at which moisture passes through the fabric and away from the skin – Vapour represents a new addition to signature Orca performance materials designed to maximise output with comfort.
