Swanneck towbars require the MAXXRAXX SwanNeck Clamp Adapter. This patented mechanism uniquely attaches to the elbow or bend of the swanneck bar thus leaving the ball free for towing. Swanneck towbars are either fixed (permanently bolted or welded to the towbar bracket) or detachable (removable when not in use by means of a levered or lockable mechanism). The MAXXRAXX SwanNeck Clamp Adapter can be fitted to either. When carrying any number of bikes on a Swanneck MAXXRAXX it is mandatory to use two Auxiliary Straps in a triangulated configuration.
