The Explorer is a favourite amongst serious cross country trail riders thanks to a well earned reputation for solid performance in tough UK conditions, and at a lighter overall weight than many of it's competitors. Featuring an EndlessEdge tread design with five-sided lugs oriented to ensure predictable steering and responsive braking under a full range of conditions. Available in 26 x 2.1, Kevlar beaded and ProTection versions with DuraSkin sidewall reinforcement and tubeless certified for the Mavic UST system along with a SUPERSONIC lightweight version for race use only. Patterned after the top-performing Pro tyre, the Explorer is an economical version for the recreational rider with a slightly lower tpi casing and wire bead. The Explorer folding version offers a kevlar bead tyre at an economical price point.
