His latest creation with Trek is the Ion Super, which he calls "smartly unique." It boasts Trek's super-stiff aluminum FCC front end with carbon stays and a carbon fork for a nimble, efficient ride that flies down the road. But the really unique part is the fact that it sports clearance for 28c tires and even provisions for fenders. So, this is a full-on race-ready bike that's stiff, light and accelerates like a rocket. And, you can also commute and train, or just enjoy it all-year long.
