For 2009, SRAM Force gets even better, upgrading to many of RED'S most popular features.
While maintaining its carbon looks, super light weight,and ProTour proven durability, the new SRAM Force shifters were clearly at the center of attention, featuring many of the SRAM RED improvements. Both brake lever and shift paddle have been reshaped for better control and feel while new cable routing options allow for the brake and shifter cables to run along either side of the handlebar.
Front shifting has been taking to the next level with the RED proven Zero-Loss technology, which engages front shifts immediately. Like RED, the new SRAM Force moves the front trim position to the big chainring to make sure you benefi t from the complete cassette range without moving down to the smaller chainring.
Finally, SRAM Force also incorporates the popular and exclusive reach adjust feature, to allow riders to customize their brake and shift levers to their needs. Now every rider has a choice on positioning their DoubleTap levers.
