With its Shimano XT chainset and rear gear and it Shimano SLX shifters and front gear, the Black Forest 4.0 could be exactly what you are looking for. Especially when Focus add the sure control of Tektro Auriga Pro hydraulic disc brakes and Continental X-King tyres to the mix.
Focus acknowledge their bikes will lead a hard life. To keep them looking great, every Focus frame is primed with an indestructible lacquer, then it is powder coated. The colour is applied to the electro-statically charged frames in the form of fine powder for a tougher, more scratch resistant finish.
