A fast hardtail for ambitious riders in marathons and longer rides. The RFR geometry delivers a comfortable and sporty riding position due to a shorter top tube. The frame is especially designed for use with disc brakes and the cold forged brake mount and seatstay brace delivers high rigidity and good brake heat dissipation. The cross-ovalized down tube is manufactured using Advanced Mechanical forming process, designed for high durability. The double butted Aluminum Lite 6061 frame has particularly stiff 3D dropouts. The 100mm Manitou Marvel TS Air suspension fork offers adjustable damping and a remote lockout. Shimano 3x10 components with Shimano XT rear derailleur are very reliable. BIKE 2/2010: "...when the singletrack spilled us out on the gravel road after some berms and roots we had our handling test winner. No other hardtail was as agile and easy to steer as the Cube.
