For leisure cyclists a straight or riser bar isn't the most comfortable of handlebars so the variety of hand positions offered by 'butterfly' bars comes as a great relief. Sometimes called 'trekking' bars, they offer a range of hand positions making your riding more comfortable especially for those longer day rides and the loop design soaks up a lot of the vibrations that cause discomfort. A straight swap for straight/riser bars, you might want to add some bar tape to add even more comfort to your riding experience.

Multiple position handlebar designed to offer maximum comfort. The ergonomic design of the handlebar allows many different positions.

Made of 6061 T6 aluminium.

Makes a good combination with the BHS22 adjustable stem.

Bikes

J E James Cycles stock a wide selection of bicycles across all cycling categories including road bikes, commuter bikes, BMX, Mountain Bikes, XC, downhill, electric bikes and folding bikes. Most cycles can be bought in store and online, although there are exceptions with certain bike brands, where the bicycle can only be collected in store. These bikes are clearly labelled online where the bike is added to the shopping basket.

Prior to dispatch, all full sized bicycles are assembled and inspected by our qualified Cytech mechanics. These bikes will then be partially disassembled and placed in a cycle box ready for shipping. On receipt of your bike some assembly will be required, which may include attaching pedals, front wheel, seat pin, handle bar and stem. Single speed kid's bikes and BMX bikes will be shipped by J E James Cycles as they are received from the manufacturer. Customer assembly will be required.
